Where is Everybody????

OK, so its not exactly as if I've got work work to do. And I understand that people actually have lives and jobs to be getting on with, but this is just ridiculous! OK, OK, its just me being bored silly at work - yet again! Not even the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is enough to make me feel highly effective - or much like a person.... All I want is to go to the park and chuck a frizbee around! Shame considering I've got plenty of things to be getting on with at home and I'm stuck here for another three hours!! I'm on the shift by myself today so its really REALLY boring.

Hands up for ice cream!

Maybe I should just do a runner? I mean, its sunny and bright outside, the weekend is calling my name... 'Oi you! Stop your dreary planning and start to enjoy me!' No one knows where there is a Marks and Spencer around here do they?

Again for random thoughts. But this may be the beginning of something beautiful...

Naughty but Nice

Am sitting at work. Only five and a half hours of nothingness to go before I get out of here. It is exceptionally quiet today and this is where the danger starts. My head is filling with naughty thoughts and as nice as they are, I am trying to keep them appropriate. Clearly spending the afternoon in an isolated reception area is going to do wonders for the self esteem. At least I have a good children's novel (Shadowmancer, GPTaylor) to keep me company and BBC News 24 in case I get bored, but they only seem to be covering the funeral and the wedding. (Pope and Prince). No, its not enough to distract me so back to daydreaming about kissing and cuddling...

On another note, I put some red streaks in the under layers of my hair. This is kind of a good thing except the red has turned a horrible orangey colour that clashes with any pink I decide to wear. So, I'm desperately trying to change the colour to a more burgundy/aubergine. I've over dyed it twice already but it doesn't seem to be making that much difference and it is just now an intense more bluey red colour. I'm going to keep trying, though, and maybe put some heat on it next time to see if it takes more. It looks nice, but its just not what I want. Where did I get this hair brained scheme from in the first place????
